About the CEO & Founder

Janine Nicholas
CEO / FOUNDER

By way of introduction, my name is Janine Nicholas and I am the CEO and founder of Rider Down™ – First Aid Training for the Motorcyclist.

Prior to Rider Down (Med Response Pty Ltd), I was the founder of Medic One Pty Ltd and Managing Director for the past 15 years (1999 – 2013). With paramedic experience at both a national and international level, I am proud to have founded the first company to offer formal Vocational Education and Training for Paramedical qualifications in Australia. Medic One went on to become the largest Registered Training Organisation delivering a Certificate IV in Health Care and a Diploma of Paramedical Science qualifications in Australia.

In 2009, I also created the Medic One Ambulance Service which quickly became a preferred emergency and non-emergency ambulance service to some of Western Australia’s largest organisations and events which included Barbagallo Raceway incorporating V8 Supercars – NIB Stadium – Royal Perth & Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital – Aspen Medical & Careflight Aero Medical – Rally WA – Cirque du Soleil – Medical service to the film industry, including on-set for the movie Australia and many more………

Let me inspire you

Choosing the right training provider is it absolutely critical when it comes to saving lives. A good educator will share ‘real life’ experiences, make the subject easier to understand and most importantly, will know what they are talking about.

The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. -William A. Ward
